Delete your account.
You can delete your Zone Six account at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent.
The fastest way to delete your Zone Six account is from inside the app. The deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately.
- Open the Zone Six app on your phone.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm the prompt. Your account and data are immediately removed from the app, and your session is signed out.
If you cannot access the app — for example, you uninstalled it, lost the phone, or no longer have access to your login email — send us a request by email.
Email privacy@thevalueos.com from the email address associated with your Zone Six account, with the subject line “Delete my Zone Six account”. We will verify the request, delete the account, and confirm by reply within the timeframe required by your local law (within 30 days at the latest, and within shorter windows where the GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable laws require).
If you are writing on behalf of someone else (for example, a deceased family member or a person you are an authorised representative for), include any documentation that helps us verify your authority to act.
When you delete your account, the following are removed from our active systems:
- Your profile (name, email, date of birth, body metrics, goals, preferences).
- All training sessions, workouts, activities, and GPS routes.
- All fasting sessions, food logs, water logs, and weight logs.
- All training plans, plan weeks, and plan sessions.
- All check‑ins, personal records, and notification history.
- All device tokens used for push notifications.
- Your Strava connection and any tokens associated with it.
- All authentication and login records.
- Your refresh tokens and active sessions are revoked, signing you out everywhere.
A small amount of information may be retained after deletion, only for the reasons and periods listed below:
- Encrypted backups: rotated and fully purged within 90 days of deletion.
- Crash and diagnostic data (Sentry): retained for up to 90 days, then automatically deleted.
- Aggregated, fully anonymised data that cannot be linked back to you (for example, totals used to improve the product) may be kept indefinitely.
- Records we are legally required to keep — for example, payment receipts for tax and accounting — are retained only for the period required by applicable law.
Profile, workouts, meals, fasts, and all other in‑app data are removed from our active systems immediately when you confirm deletion (in the app) or when we process your email request (by email).
Encrypted backups containing your data are fully purged within 90 days. After this point, no copy of your personal data remains in our systems other than legally required records and fully anonymised analytics.
Deleting your Zone Six account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and must be cancelled in your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Zone Six → Cancel subscription.
- Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Zone Six → Cancel subscription.
We never see or store your full payment card details — these are handled entirely by Apple and Google.
